Welcome to Godspeed

I’ve been writing since I was in high school—filling notebooks with my thoughts, expressing how I felt, writing letters to God, and processing life through different seasons. I’ve kept my writing hidden up until now, and if it weren’t for a very clear vision and command from God to create Godspeed (more on that to come), I probably would’ve kept it that way.

But who is Nathan Moore?

I like to think I’m kind, curious, loyal, fun-loving, passionate, and hardworking—a guy who has a genuine love for people and a heart for Godly things. I’d love for you to believe only that, but that’s not the whole truth. I’m also opinionated, stubborn, impatient, demanding, and a little too serious sometimes. I could go on, but the point is this: I’m not giving myself this space, creating Godspeed, or writing to you because I think I’m perfect and can alter. It’s the opposite. I’m flawed through and through—and that’s the point.

I’m doing this out of obedience. I wish I could take credit for the creative and detailed vision God imparted on me for Godspeed, but it was all Him. I’m not cool enough to think of a company that:

Through multi-faceted digital media and hard copy print, Godspeed is committed to delivering raw and honest truth.

By 2026, Godspeed aims to offer a print + media outlet that creates intentional, faith-centered content focused on enlightening, bringing hope, and shining a light for all those looking for truth. Together, we will be the light to the amazing works God is doing through His children.”

Reading that scares me. I’m not good or knowledgeable in many of the things necessary to make Godspeed all that God created it to be. But I am bold and hard-headed enough to wholeheartedly believe I can steward this well for God. And like my late Uncle Dave always said, “God’s faithful and I’m not lazy.”

This Substack exists for a few reasons: to document and invite you into the journey of building Godspeed, to share some of my personal thoughts, devotions, prayers, and ideas, and to do my best at being transparent and honest about navigating life as a young Christian man who still has a lot to learn—and unlearn.

I’m not a great writer, a master theologian, or some wicked-smart savant. But I am bold, unafraid to fail, hungry to know Christ more each day, and I know what hard work looks like (thanks, Mom and Dad).
